Government relations
TSCPA serves as a liaison for the CPA profession with various legislative and regulatory agencies in Tennessee. Monitoring legislation in the General Assembly, attending meetings of the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy and meeting regularly with agencies such as the Department of Revenue, Secretary of State, Department of Financial Institutions, State Comptroller's Office and IRS are all part of TSCPA's government relations activities.
