Continuing Legal Education
The Tennessee Society of CPAs has been granted accredited sponsor status for continuing legal education (CLE) in Tennessee. CLE courses are identified throughout the Professional Development Guide by the “C” symbol.
If you are an attorney and would like to receive CLE credit for courses you attend, you must advise TSCPA in advance of attending the course so that the proper paperwork can be completed. If the Tennessee Society of CPAs is not notified in advance, additional fees will be assessed.
Please note that CPE hours are calculated in 50-minute increments; CLE hours are calculated in 60-minute increments. Therefore, only 6.67 CLE hours will be applied when attending an 8-hour courses. You must remit $12 per 8-hour CPE course (i.e., 4-hour CPE course would require a $6 CLE fee/16-hour CPE, a $24 CLE fee) in addition to the regular course fee.
For more information on CLE courses, go to the CLE Board website.
