Since its establishment in 1904, TSCPA has grown from a small group to a large, diverse society of
CPAs in public accounting, industry, education and government in eight chapters statewide.
Chapters are essential in carrying out the society's objectives throughout the state, and they offer
members an opportunity for direct professional involvement and leadership opportunities as officers and
through chapter committees. Many chapters regularly sponsor continuing professional education along with
their monthly meetings.
Each TSCPA chapter elects its own chapter officers who are responsible for the chapter's activities and
programs. Elections for chapter officers are usually held in March.
We encourage you to become actively involved in the society on both the state and chapter levels. If
you have any questions or need more information, contact the society.
Janice Smith, 2007-08 TSCPA president, will visit all eight chapters during her term. Click here to learn more about Janice.
