Q: What is TSCPA's sponsor number?
A: It is TEO 001.

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card number on TSCPA's Web site?
A: Yes. TSCPA's Web site is secure.

Q: What exactly is the AICPA discount?
A: AICPA members will receive a $30 discount per day off the price of designated 8-hour and 16-hour AICPA-sponsored courses. This discount is available until the date of the course and cannot be applied retroactively. Designated AICPA courses will be identified in all marketing pieces by µ. Members of the AICPA who are not members of the state society are NOT entitled to the TSCPA member discount fee. Note: The ABV Exam Review course is excluded from the discount.

Q: Do I qualify for the TSCPA member discount fee?
A: You may qualify to receive the TSCPA member discount fee if you are a CPA and have paid your TSCPA membership dues. (Note: TSCPA membership is on an individual basis only, not by firm/company.)

Q: How will I know if you received my registration?
A: Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation notice via e-mail, unless you prefer to receive it via traditional mail or fax.

Q: How do I cancel a course I am already registered for?
A: You may contact the TSCPA office. Please be aware there is a $30 cancellation fee if cancelled eight days or more prior to the presentation date and a 50 percent cancellation fee if cancelled seven days or less prior to the date.

Q: Can I only take 20 percent of my CPE in self-study format?
A: Self-study can equate to 100 percent of required CPE. However, periodical reading and testing cannot exceed 20 percent of the total required CPE. The reading of any journal or periodical for continuing professional education credit is subject to the 20 percent limitation as "Other CPE." Self-study courses are allowed if the sponsor has been approved by NASBA's Quality Assurance Service Program. Information about QAS may be found online at www.nasba.org.

Q: Do I need continuing legal education (CLE)?
