Information for Educators

High School Educators

High School Educators’ Symposiums - TSCPA hosts this NO COST event in early February for high school educators all across the state. For 2011, we'll be offering symposiums in two locations - one in Knoxville and one in Brentwood. The symposiums are designed to introduce educators to the variety of materials available to them through TSCPA, including curriculum and resources that can be used to inform students about business and accounting education by enhancing current educational materials. We also invite teachers to bring their top two accounting students along with them. Students will participate in joint sessions with the teachers, as well as sessions designed just for them. Please contact Lindsey Baldwin at 615/377-3825 if you'd like more information.

Rock Your Future Week - Once again this year, TSCPA is offering "Rock Your Future" week Oct. 25-29. CPA members will be available to speak to high school students about what a career in accounting can offer. To request a CPA to come to your classroom click here.
