Information for EducatorsHigh School EducatorsHigh School Liaison Program - CPA members are available to speak to high school students about personal finance as well as careers in accounting. Click here to find your school's liaison. Accounting Academy - TSCPA annually presents a four-day program for any high school junior or senior recommended by his/her guidance counselor or teacher. Students may be placed on our mailing list to receive an application packet. DVDs - TSCPA has two DVDs available for your use in the classroom. The first is the "Pennywise & Building Blocks" DVD, designed to increase students financial literacy knowledge. The "Takin' Care of Business" DVD, which profiles the careers of several CPAs is geared toward educating students about the opportunities available to them in accounting. College Accounting EducatorsStudent Manuscript Competition - The purpose of the competition is to encourage non-CPA undergraduate and graduate accounting students at Tennessee colleges and universities to address, in writing, those issues which affect the accounting profession. This competition is limited to non-CPA undergraduate or graduate accounting students at a Tennessee college or university. Only manuscripts submitted through the college’s accounting program administrator will be accepted. TSCPA Scholarships - TSCPA offers scholarships to students who have completed introductory courses in accounting and/or students majoring in accounting.
