Job Summary:
NES has an immediate opening for a Senior Internal Auditor. The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for planning and executing various financial, operational and compliance audits in accordance with accepted professional standards. NO TRAVEL IS REQUIRED.

Primary Duties:

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
• Develop audit programs
• Perform audit procedures and prepare work papers documenting the audit procedures performed
• Prepare audit reports and communicate audit results

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
• Must have at least two years of professional public accounting or internal audit experience

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Team player
• ACL experience
• Attention to detail
• Certification as CPA or CIA
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think critically, creatively and independently
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards and practices
• Ability to research and evaluate accounting entries and reports
