Student Membership

A TSCPA student membership could be your ticket to a successful future. Besides looking great on a resume, your membership gives you access to free chapter meetings, where you'll have the opportunity to network with local CPAs. When you're looking for an internship or your first job, this network could prove invaluable. Who knows, you may meet your future boss!

TSCPA knows funds can be tight when you're in college. That's why our student members receive discounts on Becker CPA Exam review courses and ExamMatrix review software for the CPA exam. We also offer TSCPA scholarships for accounting majors. Since 1991, we've awarded more than $1 million to deserving students across the state.

To be a student member with TSCPA, you must be majoring in accounting at a recognized college or university. To apply, click here to complete the student membership application form, which will be submitted to your local chapter for approval. To find out which chapter you will belong to, click here. The annual cost for a TSCPA student membership is $25.

Your membership will become active the day your chapter approves your application and your membership fee has been paid. As a student member, you may attend all chapter meetings free of charge.

In addition to networking and scholarship opportunities and exam review discounts, you will also receive regular TSCPA publications. The Tennessee CPA Journal is the official TSCPA magazine. It is published 10 times a year and is your source for the latest information on what's happening in the world of accounting.

You'll also receive our special quarterly e-newsletter, Next, designed exclusively for our student members and young professionals. Next is packed with information about applying for TSCPA scholarships, entering the student manuscript competition and other student member activities, as well as tips for resume writing and interviewing.
