President's Message
Chapter Members,
Spring is here and busy season is all but a memory.
I would like to congratulate our new officers that were elected at our
annual meeting in March. The new officers for the 2008-2009 year are Bob
Cozart (president), Stephen Eldridge (vice president) and Paul Anderson
(secretary/treasurer). The group has already met and they are planning some
really exciting new things for the upcoming year. They welcome participation
and suggestions from all members.
Our next meeting will be on May 13 at Old English Inn in Jackson. Dinner
will begin at 5:30 p.m. Maura Cunningham with Capital Financial Group, LLC
will present a program entitled "Business Continuation Planning." Our May
meeting is being sponsored by Capital Financial Group, LLC.
Our June meeting will be on June 10 at Premier Place in Jackson. Dinner will
begin at 5:30 p.m. Dennis Dycus, CFE, CPA, of Nashville will be our guest
speaker. Dennis is presently serving as the director of the Division of
Municipal Audit for the Office of the Comptroller of the Treasury of
Tennessee. The topic will be "Identity Theft and how it Affects CPAs." The
June meeting will qualify for one hour of CPE.
Our July meeting will be on July 22 at a location to be announced. The

seeing everyone there.
Please mark your calendars for these upcoming events. Your participation in
