J. Dale Crow, JD
J. Dale Crow, JD serves as Counsel of the Professional Services Group of Risk Strategies. Dale provides insurance brokerage and consulting services for accounting firms. Prior to joining Risk Strategies, Dale practiced law for almost ten years with Lewis, Thomason, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C. He has substantial litigation experience in the area of professional liability. Dale draws on this experience in assisting his clients in risk management, engagement letter review, and the placement of their professional liability and property & casual insurance. Jason M. Pannu, JD
Jason M. Pannu is a Lewis Thomason shareholder based in the firm’s Nashville office. He is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Jason currently serves as President-Elect of the Tennessee Bar Association and will serve as President in 2018-2019.
Jason practices primarily in the area of complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on the construction industry. He also practices in the areas of professional liability, environmental law, employment law, and insurance coverage disputes. As part of his construction law practice, Jason advises architects, engineers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in connection with large-scale projects.
He regularly appears in State and Federal Courts and arbitration on construction defect claims, professional negligence claims, breach of contract claims, and lien and bond claims. In his professional liability practice, Jason represents accountants, lawyers, insurance agents, consultants, brokers, and miscellaneous professionals. He also advises clients regarding litigation avoidance and assessment.

Charles Henson has been in the IT industry for over twenty-five years, and is currently serving as Managing Partner for Nashville Computer. He started working for the growing firm in 1991.
In May 2010, he was invited to the Google Headquarters in California for his personal feedback on Google products. Redmond IT Magazine featured Charles regarding Backup Disaster Recovery Solutions. He was also featured in ChannelPro Magazine and hosts an online television show, InsecurITy TV on the Really Cool Humans TV Network. He’s an Amazon best-selling author. He has written three books, Hassle-Free Computer Support, Cloud Computing: A Guide for Executives & Business Owners and most recently The Business Owner’s Guide To I.T. And All Things Digital.
In his effort to give back, Charles is a mentor for other IT professionals. Each week he leads mastermind’s groups of IT leaders around the country, comparing notes and staying on top of technology problems, changes, and trends. In 2017, he took top honors at an international conference held by Robin Robins at the Omni Hotel in Nashville for his accomplishments and was named “Ambassador to the IT Industry”.
Charles is passionate about helping business owners and office staffs become well educated about all of the technologies that can help them grow, be more efficient, and stay safe dealing with today’s cyber security issues. Wanting to share his IT experience, he has become well known around the Nashville area through speaking engagements at seminars, giving interviews to news reporters, and hosting teleseminars and webinars.Back to Speakers
Mark Koziel is Executive Vice President – Firm Services for the American Institute of CPAs. He leads the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS), Firm Relationship Management, Small Firms, Diversity & Inclusion, Young Member Initiatives, Technical Hotline and Center for Plain English Accounting. His teams build and manage firm relations with all size firms, promoting awareness and value, including advocating for CPA firm success and ongoing relationships with public accounting influencers. His team creates innovative programs and engagement strategies to engage a diverse pipeline of current and future CPAs. He frequently speaks on CPA issues around the United States.
Prior to joining the AICPA, Koziel served three years as Director of Media Planning for a political consulting firm after finishing his twelve-year public accounting career in a variety of accounting, auditing and consulting roles at a large local accounting firm in Buffalo, NY.
Koziel was an active member of the Buffalo Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs. He was one of the founding members of the Young CPAs committee and served as Chair for two years before being appointed to the Buffalo Chapter Board and serving as President for the 2003-2004 Fiscal Year, one of the youngest President's in the history of the Buffalo Chapter.
Koziel was named in the top 10 of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today in 2015 and has appeared on the Top 100 list since 2008. He has also been named as one of CPA Practice Advisors' 25 Thought Leaders 2012 through 2016. Koziel was also named to the Global Accounting Power 50 list by The Accountant Magazine and the International Accounting Bulletin in 2014 and 2015.

Jennifer L. Weske, CPA, CGMA, CFE
Jennifer Weske obtained her bachelors degree in business administration (BBA) from Stephen F. Austin University with a major in accounting and a minor in computer science. During college, she worked on the Space Station OSC (Operations Support) contract at NASA. This was both a fun and exciting job! Immediately after college, Jennifer passed her CPA exam.
After graduation, Jennifer started her career in public accounting as an auditor with Arthur Anderson in the Houston office and was eventually recruited to start a computer audit group. From public accounting, Jennifer was recruited by FedEx to work in a computer audit group in Memphis. Jennifer has experience in project management, training, information systems and finance. Jennifer obtained her MBA in Finance from the University of Memphis and her Ph.D. in Accounting from Northcentral University with a specialization in forensic accounting. Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive), a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Jennifer also obtained one of the first Certified Information Systems Audit designations in 1990 but does not have an active certification. Jennifer teaches full time at Christian Brothers University as an Associate Professor of Accounting and is the Director of the Master of Accountancy program.Back to Speakers
Douglas E. Warren, CPA, CFF, CFE
Douglas E. Warren is Senior Partner and CEO of WarrenJackson CPA’s PLLC. Mr. Warren has over 42 years of experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigations and taxation. Mr. Warren is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
Mr. Warren currently serves as Past Chair of the CPA Examination Review Board. Mr. Warren has served on the AICPA Board of Examiners and 4 terms as a member of Tennessee State Board of Accountancy. He serves on various non-profit and corporate boards including Peoples Bank of East Tennessee, PetroBeam, Inc., Samaritan Hands and Chair of Sweetwater Hospital. He is currently President of the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
Mr. Warren was the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Discussion Leader awarded by the AICPA and a founding member of the Center for Public Trust. Mr. Warren speaks nationally on the topics of forensic accounting, fraud investigations, ethics and taxation. He has conducted fraud and ethical training for Campbell Soup, Black & Decker, Radio Shack, United States Postal Inspectors, Penske and other national entities.Back to Speakers
Dr. Chris Kuehl is a Managing Director of Armada Corporate Intelligence. He provides forecasts and strategic guidance for a wide variety of corporate clients around the world. He is the chief economist for several national and international organizations – Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, National Association of Credit Management, Finance, Credit and International Business and the Business Information Industry Association. He is also the economic analyst for several state accounting societies – Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Kansas.
Prior to starting Armada in 1999 he was a professor of economics and finance for 15 years – teaching in the US, Hungary, Russia, Estonia, Singapore and Taiwan. He holds advanced degrees in economics, Soviet studies and East Asian studies.
Chris is the author of Business Intelligence Briefs and Executive Intelligence Briefs - both publications from Armada. He is also responsible for the Credit Manager’s Index from NACM and Fabrinomics from the FMA.
