Join the Appalachian Chapter for a chapter meeting on Feb. 21 at the Tennessee Hills Brewstillery. Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and CPE will be at 6:30 p.m.

Heath A. McConnell, CPA
Heath McConnell has approximately nine years of experience in tax compliance and tax preparation. He currently works as a senior manager over corporate income taxes for Alpha Metallurgical Resources, where his primary responsibilities are preparing the quarterly income tax provisions and reviewing tax return filings. He also works as an adjunct faculty for ETSU and has taught various tax-related courses. He also has experience in individual income tax via participation in ETSU's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Heath currently serves as President of the TSCPA Appalachian Chapter. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from ETSU and earned his CPA license in 2015.
