Tax Manager

Description

We’re hiring for two remote tax leadership roles with a Tennessee-based CPA firm: Tax Manager and Director of Tax.

Tax Manager (5–8+ yrs, CPA)
Leads complex corporate, partnership, and HNW engagements. Provides strategic tax advisory, mentors staff, and supports workflow/KPI improvements. Goes beyond compliance identifying upsell opportunities, enhancing client growth, and ensuring audit-ready accuracy.

Director of Tax (8+ yrs, CPA)
Oversees the full tax practice, including compliance, planning, advisory, and team leadership. Drives workflow and KPI development, maintains strict quality control, advises executives, and supports firm strategy, growth, and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For (both roles):
CPAs with strong GAAP knowledge, deep technical tax expertise,client interaction, and ability to mentor teams, optimize processes, and support growth through strategic planning.
