This Accounting and Auditing update session will primarily focus on CECL modeling and credit trends during the current environment of economic uncertainty. The objectives for this session include the following: Discuss CECL post implementation challenges and potential solutions, develop strategies for tweaking the model during a recessionary environment, understand current credit trends, understand the differences in accounting and disclosures for individually evaluated loans under CECL, discuss ASU 2022-02 and its changes to TDR accounting and disclosures.
