Melisa F. Galasso, CPA

Melisa Galasso is the founder and CEO of Galasso Learning Solutions LLC. A CPA with nearly 20 years of experience in the accounting profession, Melisa designs and facilitates courses in advanced technical accounting and auditing topics, including not-for-profit and governmental accounting. She also supports essential professional development, audit level training, and train the trainer efforts.

Melisa is a Certified Speaking Professional, a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), and has earned the Association for Talent Development Master Trainer™ designation. Her passion for instructional design and adult learning techniques is one of the differentiators that set her apart from other CPE providers.

Within the industry, Melisa serves on the FASB's Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee (NAC), AICPA Council, and the VSCPA's Board of Directors. She previously served on the AICPA's Technical Issues Committee (TIC) and is a past-Chair of the NCACPA's A&A committee. Melisa also authors the AICPA's State and Local Government Guide and serves as a SME for the Center for Plain English Accounting.

Andrew H. Digby, CFP, CPA, PFS, CEPA

Drew is a senior financial advisor at CAPTRUST in Nashville, Tennessee, where he specializes in providing personalized financial planning services for busy professionals, executives, and business owners who want intentionality and clarity with their finances. With over eight years in the industry, Drew has helped individuals and families achieve their financial goals through coordinated retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, planned charitable giving, risk management, and more. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts in business economics from Wofford College and a Master of Accountancy from Vanderbilt University. He holds the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Drew is married to Sarah Digby, founder and managing partner at Digby Family Law. They have two daughters and a son. In his free time, Drew enjoys camping, hiking, reading, and fostering dogs. Drew believes that financial planning done well balances the technical aspects of wealth management alongside the client's qualitative and emotional side. Aligning these two in the same direction and respecting someone's relationship with money can increase their ability to successfully implement their personal financial plan. The client is the expert on their own life; the advisor is their trusted guide to help get them where they want to be.
