Bob Webb, CPA

Bob Webb, CPA is the Founder of Robert L Webb & Associates, an interim management firm specializing in privately owned and family businesses with the desire to improve. He recently started Webb Group to assist Private Equity firms as a Buyer’s Advisor to search for and acquire portfolio companies. His goal is to transform business leaders, their firms, and communities into profitable, sustainable and desirable places to work, live and have a multi- generational positive impact. Bob specializes in leading businesses seeking change through finance, operations and organizational improvements and has deep experience as a CEO, CFO, COO as well as numerous consulting and Board positions.

Keith Coates

J. Keith Coates, Jr. is a member of the Woolf McClane firm. His primary areas of practice include employment and labor law litigation and general commercial litigation. Coates has represented clients in civil rights litigation before trial and appellate courts nationwide and in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, U.S. Department of Labor and various state administrative agencies.

Dean T. Howell

Dean T. Howell is a member of Woolf, McClane, Bright, Allen & Carpenter, PLLC, who primarily practices in the field of construction law. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Washington & Lee University School of Law. In his practice, he represents general contractors and subcontractors in construction disputes in court and arbitrations.

M. A. Spencer

M. Aaron Spencer is a member with the firm, Woolf, McClane, Bright, Allen & Carpenter, PLLC. His primary areas of practice include commercial litigation, banking law and representation of creditors and litigants in the United States Bankruptcy Courts. Prior to joining Woolf McClane, he worked for a private practice in Tampa, Florida, and another Knoxville firm where he primarily represented Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees and creditors in the United States Bankruptcy Courts. Mr. Spencer was appointed to the Subchapter V Trustee Panel for the Eastern District of Tennessee in February 2020 and was appointed to the Chapter 7 Trustee Panel for the Eastern District of Tennessee – Knoxville Division in January 2021. Mr. Spencer is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Richard S. Matlock

Richard S. Matlock is the Managing Partner of Woolf, McClane, Bright, Allen & Carpenter, PLLC. Mr. Matlock has practiced law with Woolf McClane since its inception over twenty-five years ago.

Mr. Matlock attended The University of Tennessee for undergraduate and law school. Mr. Matlock earned an LL.M. in tax from the University of Miami.

Mr. Matlock's practice focuses primarily on the areas of federal, state and local tax planning; mergers and acquisitions; real estate; business succession planning; and estate planning.
