Senior Capital Accountant

Description

The Senior Capital Accountant reports to the Director of Capital Accounting to perform intermediate accounting duties which relate to fixed assets, the largest balance sheet reporting line, and accounting standards. This position is responsible for capital accounting to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field; at least five years of experience in an accounting-related role; and advanced knowledge of GAAP and fixed asset accounting.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Yardi, real estate construction accounting, and Sage Premier Depreciation.
