Staff Spotlight: Cathy Bell
For TSCPA Receptionist & Administrative Associate Cathy Bell, serving others has been the focus of her career. “Before moving to Tennessee, I was a paralegal for over 30 years,”
Cathy says. “My experience as a paralegal, combined with my gifts of planning, organization, and my desire to serve, led me to TSCPA and the role of Receptionist & Administrative Associate.”
In her position at TSCPA, where she has worked since 2023, Cathy staffs the reception desk as well as provides Meeting Center support and administrative assistance. She says her favorite part of her job is interacting with people, from TSCPA staff to members to Meeting Center clients. “I love connecting with people and building relationships,” she says.
Originally from Alabama, Cathy moved to Tennessee in 2021 to be near family. “I have a son and daughter, both now living in Tennessee, and I am Bella to five grandchildren, ages 8 to 20 months,” she says. In her free time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, crafting, decorating and reading.
