New Firm Permit Renewal Requirement: Peer Review Firm Number
The Tennessee State Board of Accountancy is now requiring that firms enrolled in the peer review program provide a Peer Review Firm Number on the firm permit renewal application for 2018. This is a 12-digit number that begins with a 9. There are several ways for you to locate your firm’s peer review firm number:
- The AICPA Peer Review Program Public File Search: Visit https://peerreview.aicpa.org/public_file_search.html and enter your firm name in the “Firm Name” field. Select Tennessee from the “State” drop-down menu. Click the orange “Submit” button to search for your firm. Your firm number will appear in the table on the next screen, next to your firm name.
