Update of Peer Review Program Manual Expected in April
The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) stated that the next update of its Peer Review Program Manual (PRPM) is expected by late April 2022.
The PRPM is developed by the AICPA Peer Review Board and provides peer reviewers with up-to-date standards, policies, procedures, checklists and programs to use when arranging, administering or carrying out a peer review.
The updated PRPM will be available on the AICPA’s peer review webpage and Online Professional Library (OPL) to subscribers. The updated manual will contain final standards and conforming updates to other PRPM sections, including checklists and practice aids. The updates will be effective for reviews commencing on or after May 1, 2022.
